1881 Half dollar Value?
I won a coin at a fall festival and now i found out it is similar to a really exspensive coin. I was wondering how much we should sell it for it is in pretty angelic condition better condition that the one seen on this page

I know that it is the real thing and again i be wondering if i were to sell it on ebay what should i start the bidding at? and how much would some one that collects these type of things buy it at?

You have a 1881 Seated Liberty partially dollar. If it is in the condition you say it is worth at least $500US if authentic and expected more than that. The coin in your photo is a near perfect category with rainbow toning and sold for $11,500US in 2003 according to the website. There were simply 10,000 circulation coins and 975 proof coins minted that year. I would recommend you take the coin to a local coin expert or two for an evaluation. You might also consider asking them about getting the coin slabbed and certified by one of the grading services: NCG, PCGS, and ANACS. I hope that help.
