The major role surrounded by my story is pregnant.?
Should she keep it or abort? She's 17 by the way.

Couldn't you create a scenario, contained by which the girl's initial plans are to abort, but as she develops physically and emotionally, she empathises with the child within her, and decides to bring it up.

she should have the toddler. to make it interesting, who they think is the father is someone else. kinda like you see surrounded by drama shows and teen movies.
if she have big educational goals for herself like getting into a honest college and becoming a doctor/lawyer something like that, she should have an abortion. i would hate to see really smart girl resembling that have her dreams tarnished.
however, if she is against abortion which is obviously totally fine, then she should own the baby and just put it up for adoption.
although there is other the possibility of going all secret life and keeping the babe-in-arms :)
you choose. it really depends on your characters personality

I think much more interesting plot twists will be available if she aborts
(depression, drug and alcohol verbal abuse, scary happenings out on the street during this period, suicide attempt, spiritual questing..
versus if she keep the baby, her life will be locked into being a mom, and not individual able to go to college or have a proper infantile adult life as she finishes childhood normally..
I'd abort..and play out the impossible things that happen to her psyche as the result of having to deal near having done that
and then follow it with a revival of her self, at college..and meeting a man and becoming herself and all that

Of course, having said adjectives that, only you know what fits Scarlett best...
(I mean, for example, her family is rich adequate to pay
for nannies,
or she could have it, then offer it away (ooh, and that way, the child could show up later in natural life! ,,that'd be interesting)
