The house of darkness series?
just wondering ive started this book my friend lent to me called marked, its approaching about vampires and stuff and im into all that like twilight and vampire academy, but im finding this one really boring, im resembling up to the bit where she goes to the first assembly thing and this hot professor says a poem or something... does it get better? is it worth reading? please give me similar to a TINY hint or spoiler that might get me wanting to read more...

There SO good the first one takes a while to get to the bustle. the next books are actioned packed and romantic she's stuck between a man, blue and red fledging and a vampyre. Carry on I thought twilight was biddable but but these series were amazing I cant wait for the next book.

Okay i own the books and i read them over and over again 1st off they are 100% better than twilight . And once you start reading them your going to be addicted no lie im on the limit of my seat waiting for the next book to hit the stores. The plots awesome its not predictable and how the talk is hillarous theres a funny gay guy name damian hes is really sweet. And the tins shanunee and erin. and zoey the one that gets marked . heath the human boyfriend. kayla the bit** of a friend . And Erik knight hes supossed to be hot but im a guy and i cant agree near that lol . Start reading. I Dare You. lol I hope that helped because this is 1 AWESOME SERIES! i thought this book was slow within the beginning also! However, since i started reading it I decided to finish it....it defidently does get better! Its a totally different appropriate on vampires. I have read all 5 of the books contained by the series that are outm, and the 6th comes out the end of the month.....they aparantly have signed on to do a total of 12 books in the series. I would recommend reading the total first book...after I finished it i had to run out the same day and achieve the next bcause it ended up drawing me into the story so much. There are a lot of twists and turns throughout the different books that you would not expct to occur. Characters arent who they seem, things happen you dont see coming. At elast finish the book before decide you dont like it. With me, the first half was pretty slow but come the second partially of the first book, it really drew me in. I dont really want to say what hppens because it will give it away, however if you want you dont want to finish reading it, or want to know about what happens before decide, shoot me a email and ill gladly give you the rundown on the story :) i'm 26 and concluded up loving the series :)
It's not as good as Vampire Academy, but it have it's own charm and each book gets better (as it is a series). The first book is more about Zoey settling within to the House of Night, but trust me, it gets hotter and better, especially as more drama enters with guys ;) Source(s): Read 'em adjectives!
I've read just the first one solitary on my daughter's recommendation. The story is compelling and gets more so as the book goes on. The quantity about vampires needing to go to finishing university and have sex is a little cheesy like a desperate Sy Fy movie: Vampire School Girls in Heat. So you must accept the premise or it will never get better as the unharmed story hinges on her vampire development.
i found that it only got worse
