Is it unusual to spend a few hours reading at Barnes & Noble?

Last night, I went to Barnes & Noble (my favorite store in the world) on my downtime to do some adjectives reading. Towards the time I got ready to leave, I asked the guy surrounded by the music section about an album that was playing. He said he couldn't remember it, so he asked me what time it be playing. I said, "A few hours ago." And he asked, "You've been here THAT long?" When he asked me that, I immediately thought, "Am I the only customer who in reality reads the books??" It just didn't strike me as out of the ordinary; "abnormal" to me is coming in to skim through a bunch of books/mags and leave after only 10 minutes. I didn't have an idea that I was the only person who does that (it's resembling a library except the books have price tags). I could easily spend a few hours perusing their inspection. There's too many wonderful books and mags for my mind to focus on and I end up losing track of time. Last night, I get immersed in a People mag about the Jaycee Dugard kidnapping and a Guitar Legends mag solely around Motley Crue and simply lost track of time. Why is this odd?

I don't think it's odd. I go to Borders adjectives the time and I'll sit there and read a book if I enjoy it. A lot of people I know do. I guess empire think it's odd because they probably don't like reading so much, especially contained by a bookstore. Or maybe they're just not used to it. I don't really know, some population just react to things like that differently.
I love doing that! I mean they hold so many things to look at and read. If it weren't for having to go home at some point I could probably stay in attendance all day. I mean especially if you're looking to purchase a book than you want to purloin a look at it first before deciding to pay twenty or so dollars for it. So, I don't assume it's abnormal at all. It's nice to know that someone else enjoys spending time within a book store.
that sounds like a fun evening haha, i love spending ages surrounded by bookstores, its really relaxing, its not wierd
No, I love to spend time among paperwork. I have to look in all section and read a bit. I have to read some in a book to feel if its what I stipulation. I love books a great deal and love the places they take you too. When I was a child, I have a pillow and blanket with a flash light in my bedroom closest. After mom tucked me within I got up and read in the closest. lol
Nope, not abnormal at all. I longing I could stay at Barnes & Noble all day. They have a cafe here for a reason!! It's great that you can stay there as long as you want. Some times a person requests to be surrounded by all the cool stuff in Barnes & Noble.
