Join a critique site like www.critiquecircle.com. You will be expected to do some critiquing yourself up to that time anyone spends time on your work.
I'm a freshman in high institution with no thought about writing a book, and i only write a bout mid-evil battle when i do write, my mom is an English teacher so i know a bit about editing

Check next to your local library to see if there is a writer's group in your area. In Canton, Ohio, for instance, they enjoy The Greater Canton Writers' Guild. These groups usually meet once per month and the goal is to help respectively other. Since each writer is as vulnerable as every other, they generally respect one another ~ by which I be set to criticism is objective rather than mean-spirited and no one trespasses on anyone else's intellectual property rights.

Some colleges, especially within summer session, offer writers' workshops. And a well-organized Parks and Recreation department may offer something, such as the one contained by Grand Prairie, TX. You can download a .pdf file of their current or last three catalogs even without human being a registered member. Source(s): http://www.grandfungp.com
