What are some worthy books?
I would like a list of good books for teenagers.
I would prefer mystery or experience.
I've read Lord of the Rings trilogy, Twilight series, Eragon, and the Harry Potter series.
Thanks!

The Lovely Bones-Alice Seabold
*About a young girl who is raped and murdered, it's her perspective from her said "heaven" as she watches her familial fall apart, her killer kill Again and the world verbs without her* It's beautiful
Crank, Glass- Both written by Ellen Hopkins
Story of a young girl and her combat with the monster, crank. The way she loses everything, lies cheats and steals to get it, it's a exceedingly deep look into the life of an addict.
Burned-Ellen Hopkins
My fav book by her is the story of a girl who is overwhelmed down and abused emotionally by her family, moves in with a relative, but after a tragic incident change everything and helps you see the view point of people that are considered the doomed to failure guy
White Oleander-Janet Finch
*The story of Astrid, a girl whose mother is in jail for murder, she is put into many adoption agency's and homes.. it's a really good look into the life a foster child
Swimming Sweet Aero-Don't recall the author
*Amazing book going on for a girls life in a small town, the sexual tension and experiences surrounded by this book are raw and in your face. It have everything you could imagine and makes for a great page turner
My sisters keep-Jodi Picoult
*DONT WATCH THE MOVIE* This book is a page turner and you will be shocked with the closing moments, about a girl who sues her parents for the rights to her own body after she was basically born to donate her blood and body parts to her sister.. heartbreaking book! great rupture jerker!
Something Borrowed and Something Blue-Emily Giffin
Two books, based on two best friends, one book on Rachel, a lawyer who is given the title Maid of Honor by her best friend, gets drunk one hours of darkness and accidental sleeps with the groom to be.. they fall within love and sleep with each other behind the friends posterior, Something Blue is the side of the other best friend and we learn she was not so innocent.. the book was incredible.. amazing and breath taking.. you will LOVE IT
Blood and Choclate
*Great if your currently embark on the whole vampire ware wolf trend, way better then the movie! It should be an abomination to fine-tuning the books and make them into movies.
Stephen King is also a great horror author. He surpasses J.K. Rowling in writing style, and his books are adjectives just so amazing.
The Artemis Fowl series is also very good - some might sign them as too "childish", but the truth is, the books are very good. They own action, deep meanings (VERY low meaning), and are emotional at some points. I adore Artemis Fowl, so you should definitely check it out.
Other books:
Catcher in the Rye
To Kill a Mockingbird (honestly, this book is so amazing, it should be mandatory to read it)
The Giver (also correct, check it out)
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Looking for Alaska by John Green
Time Traveler's Wife (the movie is in theaters, and both the movie & book are great)
Sophie Kinsella also writes some pretty great chick lits. The Shopaholic Series' first few books are great, but then they kind of be in motion downhill (you'll love the first one, though). The Shopaholic movie is kinda... eh, but if you like the book, you'll like the movie.
Can You Keep a Secret? is honestly my FAVOURITE chick lit ever - it's so hilarious! Definitely check it out, it's a scream and you'll honestly be cracking up (I don't laugh aloud often with books, this one I did). Plus, the romance is great! XD
Also, you might close to the Blue Bloods Series by Melissa de la Cruz.
Meg Cabot also has some really good teen books. The Princess Diaries are good, though I find they stretch on and acquire boring after a few. My personal favourite by her is Avalon High, it's amazing in so many ways. Stay away from Teen Idol, though - it tricks you, and the synopsis lies.
FOR VAMPIRE BOOKS...
VAMPIRE KISSES by Ellen Schreiber, unquestionably!! It has the same Human x Vampire romance theme (except vampires don't sparkle - thank the Lord).
Then you hold The Eternal Kiss by Christina Kelly.
Also, IMHO, The Vampire Diaries are waaaay better than Twilight.
Actually, know what? There's an entire site dedicated to vampire romance books, if that's what you're interested in.

If these books are still around, you might try reading the Nancy Drew
series. They're about a teenager who likes to solve mysteries.
If you like Eragon, you might like the Dragon Lance series by
Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.
I just finished reading The Sisters of Isis series 4 books within the series about 3 teen girls who find out they are decendants of egyption pharoahs and have been given gifts to recover the world from evil. I read them each in one day. Also i similar to Laurie Faria Stolarz book Bleed, Source(s): bookworm
how about Philip Pullman's ominous materials?
I LOVE The Host! If u liked the Twilight Saga you will love this book even more!
Hmm...
What about the Hunger Games and Cathing Fire?
Those books are awesome.
What about the Chronicles of Narnia?

im writing an essay so please help me! I'm going to have to say...do your own homework. Out of adjectives the respect in the world, though, I promise. I love that book I read it in school and I get the same essay...
