B. God inspired thirty or thereabouts men in writing the Bible over a period of approxiately 4000 years. The Bible as a unbroken was not put together until after John wrote Revelation, so around 100 AD perhaps.
this is in truth a very interesting story, it depends on which parts of the bible you are referring to. but according to the documentary hypothesis, the first five books of the bible, or the Torah, is a combination of several similar yet different narratives. the theory is that at some point surrounded by the history of the nation of Israel, when the Torah was being written, it was put together from four different sources that adjectives told the same story and had the same characters, but respectively had different a message or point, i suggest you find a copy of Who Wrote The Bible, by Richard Elliott Friedman, who goes indeph about the historyof the opinion and can explain it much better than I, hope this helps
