Did I use the word myriad correctly contained by this sentence?
Other examples, which conceivably embody a more staggering retelling of imperialistic experiences, leave us myriad others.
Answers:
The word is used correctly although the sentence is a little confusing with the "Other examples" contained by the beginning and "others" at the end. It's possible that it works in context but on its own it seem awkward. Also, using "more staggering" might be overkill. "staggering" says all I think you have need of to say. Oh, well, more than you asked but maybe some of it help.
It is correctly used, except it should read, "...leave us a myriad of others." Hope this helps.
