I'm looking for a supernatural book, assist?

I really liked the style of writing in the eragon series. But i'm looking more into books about ancestors with powers, like, controling the elements and stuff. I'm 13 but i have a pretty glorious reading level. Please help?

Try anything by Tamora Pierce. She has two made-up series that are amazing. I would suggest starting with The Song of the Lioness Quartet (it's about a young girl beside powerful magic powers who wants to become a knight). The other series, The Circle of Magic, sounds like something you would close to. It's about four kids who find out they have magic powers such as controlling plants or the weather.

I started reading Tamora Pierce when I be 13 (which was awhile ago, I'm in university now) and I still love her.
All of these are really good books in the region of people with power.

A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. About a girl who has the power to travel through dimensions.
Evermore by Alyson Noel. Girl's a pyschic next to a bunch of insane powers.
Mediator by Meg Cabot. Girl can see ghosts.
Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause. Girl's a werewolf.

None of these are exactly what you're looking for but they're all great books!
The Summoning
The Awakening

These are both awesome and by Kelley Armstrong. The people in them can see ghost, use magic, control fire, and shift into a wolf. Enjoy!
Try Mercedes Lackey's "Elemental Masters" series.

All of the people contained by those books have power of Wind, Water, Fire, or Earth and they're always working with sylphs, fauns, dragons, fire salamanders, undines, etc. They usually hold mystery, romance, some violence, and lots of elemental magic.

NOTE: All the stories in the "Elemental Masters" series are base on well-known fairytale. Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, etc. but they've been rewritten for young-adults. There are two "Elemental" books that are not listed, they're call "The Black Swan" (based off of Swan Princess), and "Firebird" (based off of a Russian fairytale)

Also, you would probably like a trilogy written by matching author. It's called the "Obsidian Trilogy", it's followed by the "Enduring Flame" trilogy. (I'm suggesting the first one though)

Hope this helps!!

P.S. You may also like "Auralia's Colors", it's really perfect and has and interesting story-line.
read the book ''enjoy your life.''.......i bet it will change yr duration........just try it..........
