O.K., i'm starting up a novel i began a few years back. however the girls designation is Cameryn but certain ppl call her Bella. and the guys name is jacob however the characters contained by my book have absolutely nothing surrounded by common with Twilight except for the werewolf-vampire genre which again is irrelevant to Twilight. however i just needed to know if it is legal for me to keep the names because i would really approaching to publish this book

Ms Meyer did not invent the names Bella or Jacob, so she can't stop you using them. Even if she did invent them, she can't stop you using them, because copyright doesn't protect names.
However, if your readers are also potential to have read Twilight, I would suggest that you change the name of one of your characters. Otherwise race will think, "You've copied those from Twilight. How unoriginal." Whatever they think of Twilight, it will probably make them approaching your book less.
