If i really know i enjoy a book that will be a bestseller, but own no amount nonetheless, will publishers still look?
Answers:
don't offer up your hopes
You don't really involve a degree to write a book, just good sentence structure. Try this agency if you are serious about your work, they accept most genres, www.eatonliterary.com submission guidelines are posted on their site. Hope this help. To be honest, probably not.
But don't let this get to you!
It is very, fundamentally possible that you will be published. But, it is true, publishers do look for degrees, and it is true they might just blow you off. Don't be discouraged though!
Even the best authors have trouble: J. K. Rowling submitted her book NUMEROUS times before it was finally published. Stephenie Meyer was blown bad by one company (as rumors say) so she just went to a different publishing company and WHAM! Now she's the most famous out within.
And, actually, a VERY good example of the kind of situation you are going through is that The Outsider, a book by S.E.Hinton, be 15 (yes, fifteen) when she (SHE) published her book. It was so good because it gave physical life accounts of what teenagers raised in the inner city go through.
So hang in there! Trust me, I am currently writing a book as economically. I plan on having it published. All you need is the right mindset and you are good-to-go.
By the way, The Secret is an excellent book that be also published on faith, and I highly suggest you read it. It will not only inspire you, but will give support to you in EVERY other area of your life. :)
probably, but its still worth a shot.
it make it look a lot better if you have a degree to convey with your book but who knows if its really a best seller, you a short time ago might get published.
if you try it and it doesn't work then just pinch a few courses and get your degree.
good luck! (:
I'd get an agent. A lot of publishers narrowly glance at manuscripts that are unrepresented.
As for the degree....writers don't obligation them if they have talent. It's just how it works.
