Answers:
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Night by Eli Wiesel and Of Mice and Men are some distinguished and pretty easy to read books that are considered to have some of the best themes surrounded by literature in them.
To Kill a Mockingbird: Friendship, Love, Acceptance, Racism, Understanding
Night: Hope, Peace, Respect, Faith
Of Mice and Men: Brotherhood, Hope, Acceptance, Love etc. Source(s): Read them all
Chicken Soup For The Soul?
Seriously. Reading them just warms the heart and makes you grain like you can and want to be a better person. If you haven't heard nearly them (there are a lot of Chicken Soup For The Soul), these books are a compilation of short stories or poems that are submitted by ordinary people on the subject of their true experiences. Some stories makes you want to smile, some brings tears to your eyes, some makes you feel adjectives optimistic, while some others makes you pause and look at your surroundings and be grateful.
Dear Questioner,
First of adjectives, let me congratulate you: you are aware that you want to be the very best 'you' you can be. That takes a lifetime, for we are constantly growing and shifting as time passes, and this will continue(if we are willing to let it) until the year we pass on to the next life, and even beyond, I mull over....:-D
Now, for books...there are so many out there. Some are novel that can help you learn more about yourself through experiencing things by road of fictional characters.
Here are some good novels that might be biddable to check out.
SILAS MARNER, by George Eliot.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL, by Dickens
THE NICOLAS EFFECT(I forget the author here).
TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, (ditto)
Novels such as those are good for inspiring a person to become a better person, to swot to care about the right things.
There are many nonfiction books out near which can guide you as well--books on philosophy, and others. if you are a religious person, or simply spiritual, you can try any book in the library dealing with that nouns, from the Bible to the Koran(if you are Muslim) to other books--the Talmud, or inspirational books like THE PROPHET by Kalil Gibran.
For dealing with business matters, try Dale Carnegie's HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE. That is an weak one, but tried and true.
The most important thing is to try and listen more than you speak, and learn, swot up, learn!!
I wish you good fortune and dutiful weeks ahead.
Peace,
Tina Source(s): Life. Books. Love.
