Umm... i own a give somebody the third degree for my B&A?

okay, i saw a similar question to mine but i'll be more informal. currently, im thinking of writing a book and i just cant figure whether i should do it within first or third person. you see, i have two main characters (guy and girl - they go down in love blah, blah, blah) and i was thinking that i could switch perspectives every few page. it was either that or writing two exact books except having different perspective. i figured that i shouldnt do this way because its very time consuming and a lavish of time since the ending will be resolved the same way.

so what do u reckon? first being of third person?
Answers:
Try one first and see how the story progresses. i've tried first and prefer third.
you could do both. Say, first from the girls outlook. then when you switch to the boy, use third. But don't do this every few sentences or so..do by chapters probably. make sure not to repeat every sentence between them. I am critiquing a story right now for someone and they have done that..its too confusing and next boring to repeat the whole story over again. you will lose any readers that way.
appropriate luck and start writing!

I understand that having a novella published is hard but I'm not sure if tallying more content to the plot will ruin the story. Any...
