Answers:
try perchance "the pact" by jodi picoult. (she is the one who wrote the book my sisters keeper. well she is most famous for thatone atm)
a flawless love triangle in the fiction novel "the hunger games" by suzanne collins. my favorite quote "remember we are madley in love, so touch free to kiss me any time you want." its based in the future when the world have fallen apart and it has a killer story row with a love triangle and star crossed lovers ect..
there is also a good love story within the urban fantsy novels, vampire academy series by richelle mead and the mortal instrument has a great romace twist by cassandra clare.
urrmmm p.s i love you is also a book. im not sure who is by but i own seen it out and i loved the movie.
i also heared about a book "ophelia" by lisa someone* and its a book based support in the day. a tragic romance.
i also loved the movie "tristen and isolde" so it wouln't surprise me if it was a book. if it isn't at smallest watch the movie. the catch frase is "before the be romeo and juliet there was tristen and isolde" its beautiful.
i love those generous of movie but i have't read many of the books

Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen, 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, Memoirs of A Geisha by Arthur Golden ( but this one's benign of on the adult side), Q and A by Vikas Swarup (Slumdog Millionaire was based rotten this book) ...all sad and romantic books!
The Last Lecture, Marley and Me, and My Sister's Keeper are titles of books that are also real tearjerkers!

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice
Kitty Norville by Carrie Vaughn
Random Vampire books that I love:
13 Bullets by David Wellington
Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist
Bottomfeeder - Bob Fingerman
I Am Legend - Richard Matheson
Zombie Books:
Generation Dead by Daniel Walters
Breathers by S.G. Browne (This one's AWESOME)
Cell by Stephen King
World War Z by Max Brooks
Random Stuff I recommended:
Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
Brief History of the Dead by Kevin Brokmeier
Stepford Wives by Ira Levin
Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay
American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis
Apathy and Other Small Victories by Paul Neilian
Any of Sarah Dessen's books!
My favorites are The Truth About Forever and Someone Like You.
The Time Traveler's Wife is strictly 18 and up (lots of sex!).
Maybe try the Time-Traveler's Wife? It might not be age appropriate though, I'm not sure.
Try something by Sarah Dessen - very good YA stuff with adjectives the romance you can ask for.
Or I also like Melissa Marr - Wicked Lovely or Holly Black's Tithe
