Does anyone know the title of this childrens book?
Ok so it a kids book, published about 16 years or more back. It is about a mime or a clown that falls surrounded by love with a ballerina, his heart is mad of glass or something and it breaks? I only just remember but I know I loved it as a child any help sorry that all the details I can recall.

The ballet story of Petrouchka/ Petrushka is about a (traditional Russian) puppet doll near a body made of straw/sawdust who comes to life and falls in love with a ballerina. Ballet storylines can alter a bit even in the same general story much close to fairytales. They were danced in different counteries and have different choreographers and groups of dancers who each add their individuality. When childrens' books are written using ballet stories, the authors enjoy a lot of versions of most fairytales to choose from, so if the storyline below isn't what you're looking for, you will probably find it in time.
