Does anyone know what The Book Thief is just about?
I need to read a book of my choice for school and I've heard that The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is really polite but i'm not sure if it is. If anyone can tell a little bit about that book and if I should read it, that would be really polite. Thanks! :)

It is an excellent book. It takes place during World War II. A girl is taken in by a couple because her mother is unable to run care of her. Later in the book the couple takes surrounded by a Jewish friend whom they have to hide, and the girl learns some central lessons about life and human interaction. The original is narrated by Death, which gives a unique perspective. It's better than my summary, make it soun, give it a try!
