Rose ( Vampire Academy) Vs. Bella (Twilight)?
PLEASE only answer if you've read both, completely.
I personally think Rose is a MUCH better part that Bella. I mean, she has a personality.

Rose is better - but don't forget, Rose is half vampire and Bella become a vampire at the end of the series. And they're totally different anyhow, I think mostly because of that distinction. But Rose is pretty independent and mindful of Lissa's feelings (for the most part) and the other guardian... I already forgot his nickname - the one that trains her... Bella can be a bit selfish and needy compared to Rose...
I like Rose a lot more, but also because I liked Vampire Academy (at most minuscule plot-wise) better than Twilight. Rose seems stronger and more powerful, and a more interesting character to be inside the head of. I indicate, Bella's all right. I love the Twilight saga, it's good and i love it, but Rose is interesting character-wise, and Bella's just manner of...there. Source(s): I like to read. About vampires. :)
Rose hand down!! I mean, seriously. What better than a girl that can take care of herself AND see (a)ss? Boys are afraid of her!! lol Plus she's hot and she knows it!! I love everything about Rose. I love how she always have a comment, and she is always ready with a comeback for when empire try to tell her her business. She has confidence. She has attitude. She's strong and independent. She sticks up for herself and her friends. Sometimes even for culture that can't stick up for themselves. She keeps things exciting and interesting. And I love that she loves life. She doesn't want to throw it away, because in her world, she have to grow up fast. I love that she's so genuine and cares in the order of others. She's always putting her friends' needs and safety until that time her own.
Bella on the other hand... is the worst character in existence. Don’t receive me wrong. I read Twilight and liked it. But there are *a lot* of things I really dislike about Bella. For one, she’s so boring. She single seems to have a glimmer of a personality when you manufacture her angry (sometimes). Time well spent in her opinion is swooning over Edward. I really can't stand that she never does anything on her own. Somebody is other holding her hand, doing everything for her. She doesn't even have to do anything to get everything she requirements!! Bella never grows as a character either. She remains the same brainless, fixated girl she was at the beginning of Twilight.
Bella is like the anti-Rose. She doesn't row for anything. And Rose is like this badass guardian that isn't afraid to do what she has to do even if it means putting her go in danger. Bella can't even tie her own shoes without risking her time.
The real problem with Bella is that she’s so obsessive over Edward and doesn't enjoy a life outside of him. It's sickening, actually. Her life is meaningless, even to herself. Rose’s life span has purpose. She's so young, and she already knows her responsibility. She'd grant her life to save those she cares in the region of, and you see that in the books numerous times. Bella on the other hand, doesn't comfort about anyone, including herself. She's so willing to give up her go for Edward. Like she says, she'd rather *die* than be without him. She’s so organized to throw her life away. And that's another thing that I love about Rose. Rose really values time and everything it has to give. All she wants is the freedom to brand name her own choices and love who she wants.
Also, Rose doesn’t automatically fall in love next to Dimitri upon seeing him. In fact, it takes them months to even admit that they carefulness for each other. She also examines her feelings for him, asking Adrian to use compulsion on her to form her want to kiss him, and isn’t surprised to find that she truly loves Dimitri. Bella, on the other hand, sees Edward for like a second and is completely mad and calls it love. She’s not in love. She’s *lusting* over him. They don’t know anything about respectively other, and they never really do. All she knows is that he’s hot and doesn’t care about anything beyond that.
I also never like that Edward was so jealous and controlling, and Bella continually forgave him for being this means of access. What exactly was Meyer trying to say when Edward disabled Bella's car because he looked-for to keep her at home? Dimitri would never keep Rose away from the people she loves. In reality, he's helping her realize that she needs other people in her time.
IMO Bella is the worst character in creation. She is so selfish. Honestly, I really don't even presume she loves Edward. When he goes away, she only misses him because SHE can't live without him. She never even considers HIS atmosphere because she can't think past her own. She's like an infant.
Lauryn L: Jacob's my favorite too. Because he be like the only character surrounded by that series that had any sort of development or growth.
Taylor Lautner +30 lbs of muscle is quite nice as in good health. ;)
As for the first answerer - How can you forget Dimitri?!
I personally close to Rose better. She is much more independent, and she can take care of herself. I love Twilight, but Bella is always contained by need of rescuing. Rose can kick serious a**! Rose also is stronger when she loses the person that she loves the most. Bella completely shuts down. Rose make it her mission to honor what Dimitri would have wanted - even if it's stupid and reckless. But hey, that's Rose. Bella isn't even my favorite role in Twilight. It's Jacob, because he's the most honest character in the book.
