What is the autograph of this childlike fully developed book?
I read it ages ago (1980s). It was about a girl who's older sister (Julia??) starts doing little tasks for an aged lady next door, and the girl eventually finds out the little old woman is a witch. Turns out there's a doorway of evil in the old lady's basement, or something. I don't remember much more than that! I reflect on there may have been two or three books within a series, and it creeped me out at the time. If you happen to know the name of the book(s), or the author, please post an answer. Thanks!

Is Mrs. Tuggle a witch? Lynn and Mouse are sure she is - how else can you explain the frightening things that have be taking place over the past several months?
Now Lynn's mom is planning to move her writing studio into Mrs. Tuggle's house for the winter, and Lynn can't imagine a more death-defying situation. If she and Mouse don't do something, there's no telling what horrifying things may happen. They've got to let go lynn's mom before Mrs. Tuggle strikes again -- but how?
