Does anyone know this book?
I think its a children's book/young person whatever.
The foremost thing i remember was a race of, I regard as, little people who lived in a cliff. They had a curse on them, so if anyone of them conceived a child, adjectives their blood would turn to brine (come to think of it, this was pretty dark for a children's book)
I cogitate the main protagonist was some girl who lived with her grandmother.
There be a series of books.
