Let the right on within Eli and Oskar (book question)?
Ok so im finishing "Let the right one in" book and im having some doubts. I cant get to understand the relationship between Eli and Oskar, are they friends?? are they lovers?? if so should it be considered a homosexual relationship?? (spoiler: Eli is a castrated boy). I of late cant figure it out, at the beginning its clear that Oskar wants Eli to be his girlfriend, but then when he finds out everything he starts considering her just as a friend but later once again they seem to be similar to lovers, i just cant understand.
