What are some suitable books in the order of history?

I'm 17 and I LOVE learning about history. I dropped out of school due to harassment(I will be getting my GED soon though) so I don't really swot about history as much as I'd like to. I would look it up on the net, but it's unyielding to know what exactly is correct and what isn't. Does anybody know of any good books to buy about history that don't cost a lot?

A Woman's Place - Lynn Austin
Salem Witch Trails
A narrative of the life span of Mrs. Mary Jemison is pretty good by James E Seaver
Nearly anything by Howard Zinn, especially A People's History of the United States.
