I was walking through a immense forest. Snow glistening like diamonds on every tree. It looked like it never done. I wanted to stay here forever. It was so beautiful. My natural life meant nothing. The only piece that mattered was staying here for as long as I could…
I was wearing the most charming dress, long and white. It was soft and gentle against my skin.
The moonlight over my head, illuminating everything I could see.
A castle stood in attendance, above the forest on a hill. It wasn’t there before…
I took a step forward. And then another. And another. Before I know it I was running towards the castle, eager to see what or who was inside.
I feel the soil wrap around my feet with every step I took.
It felt similar to centuries past before I got to the sizeable, oak door.
I banged on the door hard with my fist, so intense to know what was inside. So eager to find out what was concealed from me. In my lovely dream.
I pressed my fingers up to cold oak. Why couldn’t I get in? It was MY dream. I should know how to do what I want, to go where I wanted to walk. And, surprising myself, I began to cry.
Answers:
It has some good descriptions but a little cliche.
I like the idea.
It is intensely good. But maybe not professional good? It have major potential though. With some editing. and whole story. I think pre-teens and teens would soak up reading it! I really do love it.
