The lightning intruder summary please?
can you summarize the lightning thief by rick riordan please? i read it last year but i forgot what its about and i hold to write an essay on it.
i need details or important things in the book too..

"The Lighting Thief" is basically a story about a guy named Perseus jackson who is dyslexic and maintain having odd incidents like blowing up his university and stuff like that..
The book begins with Percy's maths/Greek{ I forgot } coach Chiron taking Percy's class to a school trip.... . There he is lured inside a building by his maths teacher Mrs. Dodds.... Who is actually a fury {one of lord Hades's assistants}.. Percy manage to escape by borrowing a sword named Anuklamos or something like that which means Riptide surrounded by English.
This incident alarms his friend named Grover Underwood who along with Percy's mom takes them to a place call Camp half blood. On the way there a Minotaur kill Percy's mom....
This is the place where Percy learns the truth about his geanelogy. He is the son of Posiedon, The Lord Of The Sea.
As you know what the Greek Gods did other: they went about having kids next to regular mortals and Percy find out that he is HALF-BOY and HALF-GOD.
It is now that the entire storyline comes into play.
Zeus [pronounced Zoo- uss ], The Lord of The Sky has a master lighting bolt from which all other lighting bolts spring. Along with a camper named Annabeth Chase, Percy is off on his first Quest after taking counsel from the Oracle< a odd prophecy telling mummy like thing.
After spellbinding movement, Percy find out that the Master Bolt has been stolen by Ares, the Lord of war.
As a result Hades magically make Percy's mom alive and Percy gets a bead on a special chain which symbolises that he has attended Camp Half-Blood for a interval of a year....… Source(s): All's well that ends well!!
