What is the children's book in the region of a muddy, stormy hours of darkness?
Trying to remember the title of a children's book w/ pictures. It was a windy night - the brother and sister be being watched by a baby-sitter because their parents went out for dinner. They be afraid because they thought there was a ghost or monster outside the skylight - but later on, they realized it was a short time ago the brother's kite that got stuck in the tree earlier contained by the day.
It is not the Berenstein Bears, but was some kind of anthropomorphic animal (maybe mouse or raccoon). The pictures may hold been pen sketches.
