Anybody interested surrounded by publishing my book?
As I am going through a very long winded divorce , I have written a book about the do's and dont's of getting divorced surrounded by layman's terms. I would like to have it published as it would give support to others should they contemplate getting divorced.

Hey, congrats! Not everyone has the courage to face the publishing industry even if their literature is highly recommended for public consumption. Because you already hold your materials, the next thing you might decide on doing is to find a publisher who will be your retailer, publisher, editor and distributor at like peas in a pod time - which is of course not that easy to find.
Maybe you would like to ask around and maybe shop around. Many would also suggest getting an agent which could take SO long for them to sit down and actually notice what you own there and believe me, we are not just talking months here but years. Let me pass you something to peruse at while you are at it and hopefully this will help in your ride to the wagon of nouns.

You don't look for a publisher like this-- asking them to come to you. You will either get no responses, or you'll catch people flattering you who are trying to scam you or lure you into a vanity press.
To find a publisher, since you've written nonfiction, you need to write up a proposal. Then you can research publishers to submit to by any looking in a Writers Market book or going to the bookstore and finding books similar to yours, then checking the publisher. Go home and look up those publishers online and see if they accept unagented submissions from unpublished writers.
If they do, follow their submission guidelines and convey what they ask for. If not, you'll need to find an agent. Use sites like agentquery.com and search for agents who represent nonfiction. Check out what they've represented and engender sure they do not charge fees (except their 15% commission after the book is sold). Then follow their submission guidelines.
Be prepared for a lot of rejection and a lot of waiting for responses. Make sure your book is edited and revised to be your best work, and think going on for what makes it different from all of the other books out there aimed at helping inhabitants through divorce.
