While not vampire books if you liked Night World and Vampire Diaries you should really check out L. J. Smiths other books. The Dark Visions trilogy is really accurate and the Forbidden Game. However I don't think the Forbidden game has come rear legs in to print so it might be a little hard to find.
The Principal Trilogy by M.C Summer.
Can't thinkg of anything else along those lines.
Christine Feehan writes the 'Dark' series.
The first book is Dark Prince, about Mikhail and Raven.
I read the adjectives series every couple of years, and I do it in order.
