What do you consider just about my (SHORT) first performance paragraph?
I've posted this before, but I'm looking for lots of advice. :D
So I got bored, and started writing opening to stories. Would you read this and critique it? It will only take a second. :D Thanks!
I don’t like cemetery. I found this out at my Aunt Kara’s funeral. Aunt Kara was a crazy woman who I only saw about twice a year, but I still have to go to her funeral, and worse yet: I had to endow with a eulogy. Seeing as I was one of her only living relatives, (my family is seedy for dying) this was expected. Still, what do you say about a character who calls you by your little sister’s name and gives you Hanes Her Way underwear for Christmas. Normally, I wouldn’t hold minded being called by the wrong name, or the panties, but I’m a guy. Which is exactly why I be stuck on what to say. I couldn’t go in near and announce, “My aunt was a great woman, who gave me panties that clung in adjectives the right places,” could I?

I like your writing. You have a quirky sense of humor. Post more of the story, I want to know what you said in the eulogy.
