Which Would Take Longer To Write? A 2 Hour Movie Script Or A 250 Page Book?

If you were being descriptive as hell, afterwards the movie script. Don't forget you have to put in directions, descriptions of character, appointments etc etc. And it also depends if you have all the ideas already set out :)
I'm not sure that either one would take longer. I expect, it depends. How many pages is the script to a 2-hour long movie?
And anyway, you're not finished once you've written that last sentence. There's still the editing process, which may pinch longer for the script or for the story.
So I really can't say.
A 250 page novel is 250 page long.
A 2 hour movie is 120 pages long (1 page of a screenplay is 1 minute of screen time).
You do the math.
