Did Hermione Granger from HP do underage illusion?

In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, it states that Hermione eagerly accepted her invitation to Hogwarts, and took to studying magic since she began her first year, even performing a few spells successfully.

How is this possible, with the M.O.M. laws nearly underage magic?

"Underage magic is any magic used by a wizard or witch who is below seventeen years of age outside of school, where children are permitted to use magic as fragment of their education. It has been excluded under the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery since 1875, and compliance with it is monitored and enforced by the Improper Use of Magic Office at the Ministry of Magic using the Trace Charm. Children under the age of eleven, who enjoy little control over their abilities and no wands, are exempt from the law, though their parents are expected to keep hold of them under control in wizarding families." Hermione would hold only been eleven years old...
Answers:
I think the eleven years old cut off point is interpreted as pre-Hogwarts, and hence Hermione performing some magic wouldn't have been see as unusual, especially since her parents would have had little influence over it.
thats is true and i have no thought hpw she could have done that without being caught, but since she have not even started to Hogwarts she might have done them while she was in the wizardsing world and not surrounded by front of muggles.
She hadn't but visited Hogwarts. Harry did underage magic too--the times with his spike, the school roof, ect. For all the trace knows, it could enjoy been acidental.

I don't even know if she got the letter adage she couldn't do magic outside school.

Well, Dumbledore or another teacher who come to tell her parents probably would have told her...
they could do magic as long as its not serious (hehe)
and dont forget that neither of her parents be magic so they wouldnt have known
as long its not a huge spell consequently its ok....and it cant harm anyone
