Modern-day equivalent to Cheapside?
I'm writing a fanfic of Pride and Prejudice, setting it in modern times. I'm wondering what's a U.S. city / neighborhood in a certain city that will be looked down on as the characters looked down on Liz's uncle surrounded by Cheapside. Any ideas?
