750 word essay on Hector from the Iliad?

What can I talk about for Hector? (teacher told us not to go former the 6th book) Thank you so much for your answers I am soo lost! :(
Answers:
Only through Book 6?! Well, there's quite a bit about Hector there, although there's much more contained by the last few books. But Book 6 really is his. We see him interacting with his mother, his feckless brother, his brother's incredibly beautiful mistress or wife, and his own wife and infant son. The piece where he takes off his helmet is especially touching. All of these incidents show us things in the order of him.

Then there's the fact that when he fights a duel with Ajax/Aias, the Achaean warrior who is second just to Achilles, they fight until dark and have to phone up it off. What, in other words, does that show about him as a warrior?

Then there's another aspect of him that we can draw from his travels in this book. Whose war is it? But who seems to be contained by charge of fighting it? Why? (Because no one else will?) So we see him not only as an individual participant when he fights Ajax to a draw, but we also see him as a leader.

Another thing to copy on and possibly incorporate into your paper is the plea Achilles has his mother make to Zeus at the train of Book 1. I don't think Hector has been mentioned by identify yet, but that request and Zeus's answer are very significant for him. I doubt that I'm spoiling anything by saying that, when Achilles finally returns to contest, Hector's moments are numbered. So beyond the obvious fact that he's the antagonist, what else could you say something like Hector's role in the Iliad? If this is a little more than you want to deal near as of Book 6, just hold onto the thought. You may have another opportunity to use it later.

Now, 750 words may nouns like a lot, but it's about three typed page. You'll probably take 75 to 100 words for the introduction and about the same for the conclusion. So agree on how many body paragraphs you need and what you'll discuss within each of them. Hector as family man and Hector as warrior? You might break the "family man" chunk down into more than one paragraph. Not only is he a tender husband and father, but he's impervious to the fatal charm of Helen. You could aim for about 150 to 200 words on respectively of these aspects and another paragraph of about the same length on his abilities as a enemy. If you decide to have one on him as an individual fighter and one on him as a pacesetter fighting the war his brother brought upon the city, each of the body paragraph can be a little shorter. I'm certainly not saying that they should adjectives be exactly the same length, but ROUGHLy the same. So if you have fur body paragraph of about 125 to 175 words each, they'll average out to a total of about 600. That leaves going on for 75 each for the introduction and the conclusion.
