Any one ever read any books by Linda Barnes?
I've been reading the Carlotta Carlyle mystery books written by Linda Barnes. I'm just wondering if any of you have read her books, and what do you mull over of them?

I've read a few and I think I own "The Snake Tattoo." I enjoy them, but she's not bringing much to the table that many other authors of female-based dealing mysteries aren't also providing.
I'd like to see her get grittier.
