The section on like pages 73 through 74 be they are talking about the bombs and there is a part of a set that goes "The bombers crossed the sky. . . ' Yes, the White Clows on tonight."
I dont get what this passge is about and my lecturer was saying it relavant to us in the us and i dont capture how please HELP!

The whiteface (or white clown) is the highest status in the clown hierarchy and the oldest of modern clown archetypes. When whitefaces get something done with other clowns, they usually function as the straight man, "Top Banana", or the leader of the group. Her friend, Anne, wouldn't know this because she wasn't aware of their argument...however Montag would have set.
