What do you regard make a polite author?
Answers:
for me, most of all, someone who knows how to occupation your imagination. you know.. someone who can inspire you, challenge your thinking, give you wonderful thoughts about energy that can get stuck on your head for life or simply confer you something you've never had before.
A good author is a good storyteller. You have to know how to spin a yarn and keep your readers interested. Your characters hold to be believable and react in a believable manner. A righteous author can find time to write every day and is able to accept creative criticism, even strict but constructive criticism, and improve their own work by it. An author must be able to meet deadline.
Is creativity a must? No. Some writers make a very good living writing and rewriting like peas in a pod basic storyline by changing names, places, and date; I give you romance novels as an example.
Is perfect spelling and punctuation a necessity? No. They're a plus but that's what editors are for. Granted you may not seize your manuscript read if your punctuation is terrible but so far as being a top priority it is not.
Many good writers never become published authors while some un-inspiring hack make a good living at writing.

A good author is one who take singular care and pride in his or her work, melting excellent plot, role, and dialogue into a beautiful and rapturous whole to present a tale that engage our minds and captures our hearts.
I am a far cry from this description, but I am always endeavoring to become one.
