For you, is the series Twilight great? or boring?

It was great!!
I really like the story. And I love most of the characters. Even I will admit that the writing could use a bit of work, but over all I like it. Yes, it has become way too big with adjectives the fans of the movie thinking they know everything about it just because they enjoy seen the movie. And they even made dolls out of the characters. That, in my opinion, is going style too far. I liked it better when it was just true fan who loved the books for the story, not some movie.
The books were wonderful....they form you crave more and fall in love with the characters...

The books are AMAZING! The writing isn't the best but I enjoy the narrative so much it doesn't matter. I watch the film so excited but was pretty disappointed, it was a bit boring. That said I'll markedly see New Moon next month because I enjoyed the book so much.

Twilight the book was great. It was my favorite in the series. The first few chapter of New Moon were okay, but after that it became boring. The rest of the books be dull in my opinion.

The most badly written book I have ever read. Meyer wishes a writing course as soon as possible. She uses the word ''murmured'' in Eclipse 1500 times ( yes, somebody COUNTED).
Well I wouldn`t say in that boring, because boring means you can`t read anything because theres nothing going on. Twilight although very stupid make you want to keep reading. I don`t have them and I don`t like them. I`m strictly within the middle.
I liked it. It was a fun spin on vampire stories, the movie was correct also.

I read a lot of fantasy novel & for me Twilight wasn't horrible, but I find it a bit mediocre. I think it's great for younger people (like 12, 13 years old) to read & maybe teen girls that aren't really into reading a adjectives lot because it is very simple & I don't find it original... & I hate how the vampires sparkle lol.
I loved picturing Edward though, but I be totally disappointed with their choice for an actor in the movie! Jacob's a hottie though :) The 2nd book started out really boring, & I thought it be stupid how she thought she was getting old at 18... like c'mon, I can't hang around! I was sooo dissappointed in how the series ended because nought happened. No one gets hurt. No one gets kill. They talk it out... umm, how is that not sad. Nothing about files really "gripped" me.
If you like Twilight I reccommend:
-House Of Night series by P.C & Kristin Cast
-The immortal series by Alison Noel
- The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
If you haven't read these yet, I think they are WAY better than Twilight. They hold hot guys too :D They're not all grown-up like the Lord Of The Rings, more of an easy read resembling Twilight except the characters are better, the plot is better, & they're more suspenseful.
I might try out the Vampire Diaries. The series is really good so far.
If you want something more grown up, & I mean like it's an full-grown book, then try Interview With a Vampire by Anne Rice. She's a great writer.
