I want to be a writer...any tips?
I want toi be an author but I need some writing tips, my family thinks I am honourable, and I have already won a contest using a short story. Does any one have any tips or websites I could use?

Know your character, plot and world similar to you live in it each day, don't be repetitive, show don't inform, be patient, care about your story, believe contained by yourself, do whatever you can to improve, and write because you love it.
Honestly, once you have an opinion you can formulate and adore, all you need to know is how to use a keyboard and an extended vocabulary and voila! you're a writer. Any one can write though, so be sure to hold something special in your writing. Care about it, love it, and live it.

Put 'free writing sites' within google and you'll be surprised how much free help is available.
Show, don't tell.
If your role is happy, sad, angry, SHOW the reader that they are feeling this. Don't of late say "she was angry..." Or whatever. Explain HOW angry your part is, why they are angry, etc.

Stephen King wrote a book called "On Writing"
He is a master writer, and it seem like He writes faster than we can read.
The book isn't at all scary, it's a serious book on writing.
I'm not a book writer myself, but I find it adjectives for writing answers to random questions.

Well my granddad wrote a book so first thing that he did was write it then help yourself to it to a publishing place. They helpted him edit it and create a name sorry not of much help but hope you wrap up up being an author.

Read the 808 section of your library. Those are adjectives the books on writing and publishing.
Use what works for you.
Then read 300 books for each one you plan to write. All good writers are great reader.
Go to this page and print it out. Read it every day. Do what it says.

If all specifically too much work, then you don't want to be a writer badly enough.
You hold to want it more than anything else, and it is not easy, soooo you have to want it more than anything else!
