People Keep asking questions for fan fiction site but i have no theory what they are talking about. can someone please answer?!!

Basically, it's fiction made by fans of a particular movie/book/some piece of literature.
fan fiction is where fan of certain books and movies can make up their own stories with those characters, or even your own stories. There are heaps of right fan fic websites. for example, fanpop, harrypotterfanfiction.com and twilighted.net are all flawless ones :)
fan fiction is taking a 'universe' created by someone else, near the settings and characters, or real life characters, like rock stars or athletes, and using them to create your own stories
I write fanfiction i.e. based on JRR Tolkien's stories, (not the Lord of the Ring's movies, however, as I did not like them as much as I like the untested fiction)
some people write stories featuring their favorite actors or rock stars, etc, usually to fulfill their own fantasies
near are many different fanfiction types and places to read it
