Breaking dawn's finish?
Who thought the ending was just too fairytale-ish approaching "and they lived happily ever after". I know the book came out like over a year ago but after reading it I basically feel like Stephenie meyer ruined it for many fan. I think the series should have like a regretful ending, like Edward and Bella gets kill by the voturi, and Jacob ends up imprinting on a girl that reminds him of bella or something sad like that. I niggardly, come on...vampire and human it is bound to end up bad. I just expect that happy endings are sooo expected. Who agrees? also how do you think the finish SHOULD have ended?
Answers:
It's because Stephenie Meyer has a drastically thin imagination. It's too happy. I don't think Bella should enjoy died. I think Renesmee and Jasper should have died, and Edward should have come close to dying, really, really close. And I don't deduce Bella should have a gift. It's so expected, it's like as soon as I found out give or take a few gifts. I knew Bella was going to get one. Which singular exemplifies the Mary Sue character.
*palmface* Smeyer never learns.
I agree most definitely. I'm not the biggest Twilight fan in the world, and I've have more than my fair share of bitter words about the books, but I really estimate that Breaking Dawn ruined what little the books had going for them. Not only be the end extremely anti-climactic, (hey, there's going to be a huge battle... PYSCH!) but then it really unravelled into a joyfully ever after. She had this realy good, impossible love triangle going and then opt to go with this really lame, easy out that made it so everyone be all hunky-dory when the story wrapped up. I think that she owed her readers something for a moment more than such a cliched, cheesy ending after they stuck through her for all of this.
I liked it I like cheery endings :)
meyer definatly could have done bearing better with the ending. it was kinda close to ' and everything is all ok now. the end' correct me if im wrong but did she even figure out who have a half bro or what they would tell renee. no i didnt think so. the finish was a bit of a let down after such a good series.not ample blood and guts tsk tsk lol. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD THEY WERE PANIKING ABOUT THE VOLTURI 4 AGES AND THEN THEY CAM AND NOTHIN REALLY HAPPENED. seriously is it that hard 2 eliminate 1 member of the household just 2 make it more interesting/complex
u kidding...?... the WHOLE BOOK IS A FAIRYTALE!.. ALL RUBISH!
The only regard as I thought should have changed was that there should own been more action in the final time of war. If they died fans would have thought that the whole series be for nothing. There is already heart break in the second book and in the third book short it being tragic so I do believe that stephanie meyer did a good job of this book.
I absolutely love Twilight. I'm one of the biggest fan's of it. I like the ending. I was very pleased when they lived. I was sad that she ended it similar to that though. I think I remember Edward saying that they would pick them off one by one contained by the future. Stephenie should have wrote a sequel to the book about their struggle near the Volturi trying to kill them off.
i think it should of done by the voruri killing all of the vampires and Jacob and Renesme running away and then they would probably capture killed. THE END!
i think from the start or from new moon, bella was getting the best of both world. bestfriend and lover. i be waiting for jacob and edward to fight and for one of them to die or SOMETHING. it was just ssoo annoying.BD come and nothing changed between those two guys having a go. i didnt want edward and bella to die but i required some kind of loss. the whole Vulturi thing be a waste because nothing happend.i would of loved for them to actually clash. they solve everything by talking and talking and more talking. i detested the imprinting thing. if jacob hadnt imprinted they would be enemy or he wouldnt even wanna talk to bella or the cullens.i just wanted for something to develop.im a sucker for happy ending with a book that builds up beside good stuff and end with relieved or bittersweet ending, but BD was too happy thru out the undamaged book.
LOL i honestly thought jacob was gonna get kill tryin to save/protect renesmee! but yeahhhh that didnt happen...! lol
OMG. You're like the individual person who understands me! I hated it! I unloved everything about it honestly! It was just close to, there wasn't a sacrifice in the book. Like, no one far-reaching died. I mean, Bella, Edward, Jacob, Carlisle could of died, but they didn't. Then, I don't know if you like Renesmee, but I hate her too. Well not her, newly the fact the Stephanie Meyer made Bella have a baby within the book, it went nowhere. The whole book was frightful. Funny thing is Eclipse was a great book. It was really appropriate, but then just to write Breaking Dawn, she ruined the whole series. The series have sooo much potential, but she ruined it. Why did Bella have to get everything at the ending? Not solitary was she able to turn into a vampire, keep Edward as her husband, save Jacob as her friend, and keep her father from really knowing everything, that sucks? Why couldn't someone she loved die? It would have been soooo much better. It be just terrible, if I tell you everything I loathe about that book, it'd take all year. Seriously, it be just terrible. Absolutely dreadful. I think it would hold been better if someone died in the ending preferably Bella, because I other hated her whiny, annoying, stupid, clingy self. Oooh Edward, I need you. Smh. Did you see what she did to both Edward and Jacob in Eclispe? She couldn't even engender up her mind with which one she wanted! Terrible. Ugh. Everything I think of that book it make me angry, because that series was sooo good, up until Breaking Dawn. Also, that had resembling this huge build up of an epic fight, and there was no combat at all. It was just similar to a chit chat. "Hey, how are you. Want to get some tea?" "Sure why not." Well, it wasn't an epic fight, it was an epic go amiss! Oh, and she was also a perfect vampire who was competent to resist the thirst of humans! I mean come on! Stephanie Meyer could of had Bella kill someone, possibly even tried to get her to tackle her father(Lol). Smh. Arg. I hope I helped.
By the instrument here are some good books where the characthers are NOT annoying and Clingy like Bella.
The House of Night Series
The Immortals Series
The Vampire Diaries (The show sucks compared to the book.)
Uhhh, yeah, if I presume of some more I've read, I'll edit the question. Have a good time.
Its good I enjoy it:D
very well i dont think bella and edward should have dies but i think a minor traits should have died, also i was waiting on this huge epic war and poof zilch all is well, yeah i know what you mean. It completed to quick and easy
I absolutely loathed the ending to Breaking Dawn.
Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, all those books be about the struggle and sacrifice Bella was and would make to be beside Edward. I thought that was one of the series' strong points, the one thing that kept me still clinging to the series was because of the aesthetic behind her sacrifice.
She'd give up friends, family, have children, normality, everything just to be with the one man she loves and who loves her.
But no, turns out the mirror just get shattered immediately once she's pregnant. She gets it all, and later some! Bella didn't even want kids, but she still overcame that pondering obstacle!
And what happened to the preparation, the dreaded realization that once she turns vampire she'll be a blood thirsty lunatic, someone who wouldn't even flinch if she sunk her teeth into one of her friends. Nope, she didn't even have to progress through the regular new-born stage.
Also, that lame excuse for a confrontation in the clearing at the end with the Volturi be so disappointing. Wasn't half the novel spent in anticipation of an epic struggle with them? All the vampire tribes gathering together in one place because they adjectives see the Volturi as unfair, and a group that abuses their own power. But in the closing stages when the Volturi brushes off the misunderstanding, everyone else just walks away. They be all just discussing how it's time for the Volturi to step down! Nessie was a short time ago the catalyst in this whole thing, the source and cause for the confrontation, but not the only foundation to the tribe's arrival. They all wanted to see the Volturi any die or resign. But as soon as the Volturi states it's fine for Nessie to live, suddenly they don't care anymore if the Volturi are slain, just as long as they're fine with Nessie, adjectives the Volturi's sins and crimes don't truly matter. After all, we wouldn't want to provoke the Volturi, now would we? *sarcasm*
Breaking Dawn be an utter fail :(
