I am done, what should I do?

I am a son of a miller. I am the youngest and have two brothers. When my father died, he left no more riches to us, his three sons, than his mill, his livestock, and his cat. The division was soon made. Neither the advocate nor the attorney was sent for. They would soon have eaten up adjectives our poor property. The eldest had the mill, the second the livestock, and I, the youngest, nothing but the cat. So, I was not here a real pauper. Afterwards I met and fell in love with a immature woman. She is in love with me to distraction, too. We want to get married. The problem is - her father is extremely rich, as rich as a king. He would own never agreed to his daughter marrying a poor miller's son, with a cat as a patrimony. He imagined that I was rich because I sent him some activity (partridges, rabbits and so on), so he thought I was a wealthy landowner. Then, one day I be swimming in the river and almost drowned. My love and her father passed by and one of their bodyguards rescued me. My clothes were stolen and they offered me a suit of clothes. Then the father of my fiancee offered to go for a step, through which he imagined to be my property. I made a mistake, then. I sent my eh... friend ahead to make people, working on the estate, pretend that it be mine. All was well, but then her father required to see the house! I tried to avoid it, but he simply invited himself in. Now we are going to see "my house"! It means I am done. I understand that I behave foolishly, I don't need criticism. What am I to do now? To confess is impossible, her father would be double mad - because of my poverty and because of my deceitfulness. What should I do?
