What is the best juvenile book that you've read?

No like full on fantasy ones. ;]
Answers:
The clique series. I looove those books! They're funny and I can really relate to them.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
Follow the story of sixteen-year-old Katniss, who volunteers to take her sister's place surrounded by the 74th Hunger Games. What's so drastic about that? Katniss lives in what used to be North America but is now call Panem, a country consisting of a Capitol surrounded by twelve - used to be thirteen - districts. As punishment for and a reminder of the Dark Days, when the districts rebelled against the Capitol, the Capitol organised the Hunger Games, a televised show in which the tributes must collide to the death. Two children, one boy and one girl, between the ages of 12 and 18, are chosen from each district. 24 participants, 1 survivor.
There's romance within it, mostly in the middle/end, but it's not the main focus of the story. Katniss is indecisive, faking for the most part of the pack...But I'm not going to tell you everything, am I? It's the best book I've ever read. THe sequel was a bit disappointing but still good.

Oh, and The Farseer Trilogy and the Tawny Man Trilogy, both by Robin Hobb. Read the Farseer Trilogy first. Both follow the enthusiasm of FitzChivalry Farseer, the bastard son of ex-King-in-waiting Chivalry, who abdicated the throne when he discovered he had sired a bastard. Fitz is sworn to the Farseer line but he himself will never touch the throne, instead privately serving the royal family. Fitz has the Skill, the Farseer magic, but it is 'tainted' next to the Wit, the 'Beast' magic or Old Blood magic, depending on who is referring to it. The Wit is thought a despicable, demeaning magic, enable men to turn into animals, etc, etc.
It's long (think 600-800 pages per book), fascinating (think best book you've ever read...multiplied by ten), well-written (think professional) and in the first individual. Starts when Fitz is something like 6, ends (with Fool's Fate, the Tawny man trilogy) when he is...thirty-five?
I have to go to bed, otherwise I'd bestow a longer summary, but...all I can say is, they're books really worth your time.

THG is more like sci-fi since it's set contained by the future, TFT is more fantasy, it's set in another world but it's entirely believable...believe me. lol
The Book Thief and I Am The Messenger, both by Markus Zusak, were undeniably wonderful. Zusak has a very beautiful, innovative style of expression in his writing that leaves me stunned, and the stories are very original and compelling.

Some quotes:
"Sometimes family are beautiful. Not in looks. Not in what they say-so. Just in what they are."

"He was the crazy one who had painted himself black and defeated the world.

She be the book thief without the words.

Trust me, though, the words were on their instrument, and when they arrived, Liesel would hold them in her hands like the clouds, and she would wring them out similar to rain."

"Maybe everyone can live beyond what they're capable of."
