How do I notify if my Stephen King books are worth anything?
I recently got a hold of two hardcover Stephen King books in their dust jacket that are in pretty good condition. One is Carrie and the other is Cujo, and the only date on the copyright pages are 1974 and 1981, respectively. I think they are first editions but am not sure. How do I know? What are they worth? Thanks for the give a hand!

Go to Amazon. try to find an isbn, if it doesn't have try to find same copyright year.
Do you see the string of numbers on the copyright page? The ones counting down from 12 or so? Those tolerate you know what edition the book is - it's the lowest number.
It's possible as both books were originally printed in that year.

If yours have indistinguishable covers they're almost definitely 1st edition, however you'll have to go to a book hawker to make sure and have them valued. For more assurance check inside the cover/front page etc. to see if they say first edition- most do.
It will usually say first edition on the copyright page if it's a first edition.
If it's a first edition, it says so on the copyright page. Anything other than a first edition has no good point apart from it's value as a book to read.
