I involve oblige next to my fresh... Any suggestions greeting!?
so I already posted this, but I want a few more answers. And I have another question or two. :)
okay, so I KNOW that I should come up with my own thinking and such... But I've been trying and I cant. I'm writing a horror/thriller novel with my friend and we own a basic plot shaped out that stretches over a few books... Anyway, here's a VERY basic summary of what we have so far (and I niggardly *very* basic):
Boy (Jack) and girl (Chloe). Best friends. Chloe dies in a car accident when they're within high school and Jack never forgives himself. He goes on to become a doctor. His dreams are haunted by the hours of darkness Chloe died in his arms. Then, Chloe crashes back into his life. Literally. She be permitted to live by the Spirit Keeper, Kyne, on one condition. She had to make Jack's life miserable. Problem is, she loves him too much to do that. Kyne eventually catch on and ends up trying to kill Jack. Well Chloe transfers some of her immortality to him and Kyne is rather upset. So, Chloe makes another operation with him. Jack would have to pass the three trials she go through in order to prove herself worthy to Kyne. If he passes, they both progress free. If not, Jack will go free and Chloe will take his place and become Kyne's bride (because Kyne "loves" her as well. So Jack go through the trials and fails the last one. So Chloe is left next to Kyne as his bride and Collector (meaning she wanders the earth for lost souls) Jack then spends the subsequent year searching for Chloe. Well she escapes from Kyne and goes back to Jack. Kyne learn of her escape and then proceeds to go from his realm to planet in search of his spirited little collector. In the process, however, he starts to destroy the soil. Now Jack is in a desperate race trying to save Chloe. And Kyne lives within a realm of his own creation. He lives there in his palace that he built out of the shadow remaining from the souls he's collected...
That's what we enjoy so far. And I'm not going to say the ending ^_^ Problem is, we want a BIG twist contained by the plot and we can't think of anything. So any ideas? What would REALLY make you want to read this book aside from what I wrote. And does this nouns like a book you'd read? All answers, suggestions and ideas are appreciated!!

How can we incorperate more characters? Because right now we enjoy a grand total of about 7... and that's WAY too small for this novel. So Any planning for characters? Go all out! We (my friend and I) can't think of anything... :(

ok so you need more characters right? capably i read the description and i think its totally a book i would read. i had an idea for another guise.
maybe someone who is in love with jack (maybe a moniker like rachel or nana but ill leave it up to you). after chloe dies rachel/nana starts to date him and he slowly starts to plunge in love with her until he starts dreaming about the hours of daylight chloe died. ^^ hope that gives you an idea

i shall enlighten you next to my mad skillz! First is more chars.....there should be a fight between Jack and Kyne and this is how it go down!
There should be guys from Heaven-Bad Place- and then limbo that have to give him some of in attendance energies to over power the juiced up Kyne! That is 3 more guys right there!
Next you could have a right hand man for Kyne that is to say in the back that jack has to eventually scrap (4 ppl). Then there should be a servant girl to Chloe that loves Kyne that helps her get out and stuff (5 )
and specifically all i have!
Big Plot twist- they find out that jack actually did impose the accident by doing something which throws Jack and Chloe into termiol!
make them loves!
what's wrong with 7 characters? There are a bunch of novels that work great next to fewer.
