Anyone enjoy any book suggestions?

I really enjoy books by Ellen Hopkins, and I love Perks of being a Wall flower, and Go Ask Alice. I like books/novels roughly speaking teen substance abuse, things that could very well be convincing.

Does anyone have suggestions of any books similar to those? I'm a really picky reader, so It has to be something really good.

I realy enjoy Lullabies for Little Criminals by Haether O'Neill. The book is her 1st novel and it won a number of awards.
Book Description

A gritty, heart-wrenching novel just about bruised innocence on the city's feral streets—the remarkable debut of a stunning literary talent

Heather O'Neill dazzles with a first novel of extraordinary prescience and power, a subtly simple yet searingly effective story of a young time on the streets—and the strength, wits, and luck necessary for survival.

At thirteen, Baby vacillates between childhood comforts and adult bribe: still young enough to drag her dolls around in a vinyl suitcase but old enough to know more than she should about urban cruelties. Motherless, she lives beside her father, Jules, who takes better care of his heroin habit than he does of his daughter. Baby's grant is a genius for spinning stories and for cherishing the small crumbs of happiness that fall into her nouns. But her blossoming beauty has captured the attention of a charismatic and death-defying local pimp who runs an army of sad, slavishly devoted girls—a volatile situation even the normally oblivious Jules cannot ignore. And when an escape disguised as betrayal threatens to crush Baby's spirit, she will ultimately realize that the power of recovery rests in her hands alone.

I also recently enjoy Karen Foxlee's 1st novel The Anatomy of Wings. Set in Australia, this also has won its share of awards.
A new-fangled about the pain of grief that is as unexpectedly funny as it is clever

Ten-year-old Jennifer Day lives in a small mining town full of secrets. Trying to make sense of the sudden passing of her teenage sister Beth, she looks to the adult world around her for answers.

As she recounts the final months of Beth's go, Jennifer sifts through the lies and the truth, but what she finds are mysteries, miracles and more questions. Was Beth's death an accident?

Why couldn't Jennifer – or anyone else – set free her? Through Jennifer's eyes, we see one girl's failure to cross the threshold into adulthood and her family slowly falling apart. Her activist nanna is banned from visiting and her parents blame Beth's friends and each other.

Karen Foxlee capture perfectly the essence of growing up in a small town and the complexities and absurdities of loved ones life.
