The lovely bones (book)?

So i read The Lovely Bones for my english class and it was one of the best novels i have ever read. For my english class i inevitability to have a good quote from the book, but it has to be longer than a paragrah shorter than three paragrahs. So two paragraps, it could be a moment or two longer if needed. I needed it to show emotion; i was looking through the book but i cant seem to find any. My first I don`t know was the part where Mr. Salmon be explaning Susie's death through the monopoly game, but that was to long and WAY to much dialogue. Yeah i dont want much dialogue within the paragraph(s). thanks in advance.

There's a appropriate one on the very first page:

"Inside the snow globes on my father's desk, there was a penguin wearing a red and white striped scarf. When I be little my father would pull me into his lap and reach for the snow sphere. He would turn it over letting all the snow collect at the top, then quickly invert it. The two of us watch the snow fall gently around the penguin.

The penguin was alone surrounded by there, I thought and I worried for him. When I told my father this he said, "Don't worry, Susie, he has a nice enthusiasm. He's trapped in a perfect world".

I know in the book this is written as one single paragraph but it's really long ample to be broken down into two if you're allowed. I think this quote shows how quickly a family can be broken and it also shows what Susie's relationship be like with her father.

Here's another:

"My mother had be the one who knew each meaning of respectively charm on my bracelet- where we had gotten it and why I liked it. She made a meticulous record of what I'd carried and worn. If found miles away and in isolation along a road, these clues might lead a policeman there to a association in my death.

In my mind I had wavered between the bittersweet rapture of my mother name all the things I carried and loved and her futile hope that these things mattered. That a stranger who found a picture character eraser or rock star button would report it to the police" - Susie Salmon page 21.

I think that quote sort of explains Susie's relationship with her mother somewhat and also how Abigail handled Susie's disappearance and death.

"On my way out of Earth, I touched a girl name, Ruth. She went to my school but we'd never been close. She be standing in my path that night my soul go shrieking out of Earth. I could not help but graze her. once released from life, having lost contained by such violence. I couldn't calculate my steps. I didn't have time for contemplation. In bombing it is the getting away that you concentrate on. When you begin to go over the edge, life span receding from you as a boat recedes inevitably from the shore, you hold onto death, tightly like a rope that will transport you and you swing on it, hoping merely to land away from where you are" - Susie Salmon. This quote I think explains Susie's inner health just after a death and explains why Ruth came into the book so strongly apart from culmination up as Ray's girlfriend and it explains Ruth's what you could call abilities.
