Why doesn't Huck want to be civilized?

In the book Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, why doesn't Huck want to be civilized? Why? In what ways does Pap affect his dejection of civilization?

Thank you!
Answers:
-Huck equates civilization with hypocrisy (King and Duke--con men who easily fool the gullible people of society) and as a result rejects being one of "them"
-Huck also rejects the norms of civilization in the South which includes slavery. As Huck and Jim take a trip through the river, Huck gets closer to Jim and comes to see him as more than just an animal / property, which is the conventional view of a slave from a white person's perspective
