ok i read it in 3rd grade and its about a owl and a rat living contained by the woods and it was a very boring book to me but i need to find the designation of it!!
ok in the front cover theres a huge owl ( takes up the 2/3 of the front cover ) and below him theres just a forest... its illustrate...
i think it sounded like HOBIT? or HOBETT or Tibbet?/?? i'm not sure but i REALLLY need to find the autograph of it so THANKS FOR THE HELP!

I think your describing one of the Poppy books. All I remember from them is Poppy is a mouse and her boyfriend gets eaten by the owl... I'm not sure which one it is... The books are written by Avi though.
