Can anybody backing me out beside a moniker for my story?
I've just finished plotting out a story I'm starting, but I desperately need at least a working title. It's a sci-fi comedy/drama nearly a lonely mad scientist. Can anybody help? Here's the plot so far:
The story is about a fourteen-year-old boy name Noah (in a futuristic alternate universe) who is kidnapped by a famous 'mad scientist' who turns out to be a teenage split-personality casing. He has an evil and barbaric alter ego that people call 'Dr. Destroyer', who started a bloody period of war with the nearby villages. He also have a very childlike alter ego who doesn't speak but adores the kidnapped boy, Noah. The stub personality, Jamie, is super-intelligent, shy, and reclusive. Dr. Destroyer expresses his pent-up anger while the child-form Carson has always be able to express the feelings that Jamie couldn't.
The reason Noah be kidnapped is because the scientist's loyal and caring subordinates thought that maybe if the man have a human companion, he wouldn't be so lonely and the evil personality would be suppressed.
Noah doesn't make the distinction at first that the childlike mute boy, the sadistic man, and the messy genius pubescent are all the same person, and when the truth comes out he is fearful of Jamie. But eventually, he begins to accept that the person the undamaged world thinks is a villain might really just need somebody to love.
A push button point in the story is that all three of Jamie's personalities display love for Noah, albeit surrounded by their different ways. Dr. Evil is infatuated with him, and flies into a jealous rage every time Jamie tries to regain control of his body. Carson hang onto Noah like a brother, and embarrasses him with frequent displays of affection. Jamie himself is extremely humiliated by his other personality, and withdraws from Noah at first, but then realizes that he is falling contained by love with him as well.
So, long summary, I know. But I need a apposite, fitting title.
