Answer me this, Twilight fan!?
If Bella is supposed to be an "average, ordinary teenage girl", then why does Edward Cullen, who previously have no other interest in any other girl, choose this one? I'm just curious, really. Twilight characters are one-dimensional. Bella is a Mary-sue who Edward falls for for no apparent motivation. It just makes no sense!
Answers:
How Bella is supposed to be the average every day girl but every guy in forks high arts school falls in love with her with surrounded by the first 3 hours is beyond me.
This is more of a rant than a question, but to answer your original one, it's because she smells approaching dinner, and he can't read her mind.

It's because he can't read her mind and he's curious, and her scent drives him nuts because of her blood that happens to be mouth watering they say.
Like attracts like, you see. A whiny, vapid, idiot devoid of a self-worth would undoubtedly attract the same.
its because she is the only personality whos mind he cant read so he is drawn to her, he want to get to know her because he cant just hear her thought and know what shes all nearly
Something to do with her blood reminding him of heroin. And him not one able to read her mind. Or some other equally ridiculous nonsense.
