Why is the Bible referred to so frequently contained by Act II of The Crucible?
Answers:
Salem was a town dominated by the Bible and Christianity. Everything revolved around it: the law, government, it's towns family, etc etc... It was a purely religious town.
So of course it would be referred to frequently, especially in Act 2 while at the Proctor's & discussing the trials, Proctor's infidelity, etc etc...
