Can't remember the author or moniker of short story? Kinda apocalyptic-ish.??
Its a unknown person describing the landscape of a small town that there is not a soul in. Also a little house on a hill that here is two shadows of children but no children. Read it it high school while we were reading beam bradbury and jack london etc..
